Does renting storage units require insurance?
Yes. We do require insurance when you are renting a storage unit. You can either provide proof of your own insurance as you are checking out, or you can purchase one of our select insurance plans. We offer a few different options, so you are able to choose the best for your situation. Ask our storage experts which plan would be best for you.
Are locks provided/sold on site?
We sell a wide selection of storage supplies—including locks—in our storage offices. Choose from packing and moving supplies such as box cutters, packing tape, furniture covers and more at any 106 Self Storage Green office location.
How do I reach someone after hours?
If you have an urgent issue after business hours, please call any Self Storage Green facility and press 1 to speak with a representative. Can I rent short-term?
Yes, we offer convenient month-by-month storage leases to allow for flexible rental space. At Self Storage Gren you will never be stuck in a long-term contract. Rent for a month, a few months, or find your long-term storage solution with us.
What discounts do you offer?
Currently, our storage facilities offers a variety of storage discounts. Customers ages 65+ can receive our Senior Discount of 5% off monthly. Active duty military members can receive 10% off monthly. Thank you for your service! Additionally, when you refer a friend, you and your friend both receive $50 off your next storage rental. Do you have movers?
No, currently our storage facility does not offer any sort of moving service. However, you can find a list of recommended businesses on the Neighborhood Friends section at the bottom of each storage facility’s rental page. Our neighborhood friends board is the perfect resource for finding reliable businesses to help you. Our list of friends also shows discounts they offer our customers. Search through each storage facility’s Neighborhood Friends list to find movers within your area.
Do you have truck rentals?
ABCD Econo Storage in Brooksville, FL, offers Penske truck rentals for your convenience. Please call their office for more information. For all other storage facilities, please visit their respective Neighborhood Friends section for a list of recommended truck rental providers.
Do you have storage auctions?
Yes, our storage facilities do hold storage auctions. Auctions of storage units occur after fulfilling the state lien law procedure of someone who has not made a payment on their unit. Storage auctions aren’t our favorite side of the business, but they are a part of it. Storage auctions will be held online at Lockerfox.com. Simply visit the site, and entire the zip code of your desired storage facility to check-in on any of our current storage auctions.
Can I live or sleep in a storage unit?
No, living in a storage unit is prohibited by various local and federal housing laws. Additionally, living in a storage unit is considered extremely unsafe. Storage unit doors lock from the outside and do not have running water to support a residence.
What storage unit size do I need?
At Self Storage Green, we offer a variety of storage unit sizes to meet any renter’s needs. Depending on the amount of items you are looking to store, how long you are looking to store, and what you are trying to store, different storage unit sizes might serve you better. Our online storage calculator can give you a storage unit size recommendation based on the objects you enter. Simply input any items you plan on placing in your storage unit, and this convenient calculator will provide you with an estimate as to how much storage space you will need. Use this estimate as a reference to selecting your correct storage unit.
When I rent online, can I access my storage unit right away?
Yes. When you rent a storage unit through our contactless storage rentals you are able to access your storage unit immediately once you receive your confirmation email. The online rental process lets you choose your storage unit and pay for it within minutes – it’s that simple. Once the transaction is completed, you can move into your storage unit right away.
Can I access my storage unit at any time?
No, but our storage facility does offer gate access outside of normal business hours. Our storage facility’s gate hours are from 6 AM – 10 PM.
